1. Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy
1.1. Designed for Children and Families. The App is designed for children and families. Our data collection and privacy practices are designed to comply with applicable child privacy laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K) in Europe.
1.2. The Role of Parents and Guardians. We require a parent or legal guardian (“Parent”) to provide consent before their child (“Child”) uses the App. This Privacy Policy applies to all users, and Parents who provide consent for their Child to use the App are agreeing to this policy on their Child’s behalf.
1.3. Principle of Data Minimization. Our core principle is to collect the minimum amount of information necessary to operate and improve our Service. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from children.
1.4. Parental Control. We empower Parents with control over their Child's experience. Key features of the App, including in-app purchases and links to external sites, are protected by a Parental Gate. Parents have the right to review the information we maintain and request the deletion of their account and associated data at any time.
2. Acceptance of This Policy
By downloading, installing, or using our App, or by providing consent for your Child to use the App, you accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, you must cease using the App and remove it from your device(s).
3. Information We Collect and How We Use It
To provide and improve our Service, we collect a limited amount of information as described below.
3.1. Information Provided by Parents. When a Parent creates an account, we may collect the Parent's contact information, such as an email address. This information is used for: Creating and managing the Parent Account. Sending important service-related updates and security notices. Password recovery and account verification. Communicating with the Parent regarding their subscription or their Child's progress. We do not request or knowingly collect personal information like a name, email address, or phone number from a Child during the account creation process. Any demographic information requested, such as a city, is for the Parent's account and is used to understand our user base and improve our curriculum.
3.2. Information Collected Automatically (Non-Personal Information). When the App is used, we automatically collect non-personal information related to gameplay and app usage. This includes: Learning Progress: Such as completed lessons, quiz scores, and unlocked achievements. In-App Events: Such as interactions with different features and time spent on activities. This anonymous data is essential for the App’s core functionality. We use it to personalize the learning experience, track progress, adapt the curriculum, and improve our Service. This information is not used to personally identify a Child.
3.3. Information from Third-Party Services. We integrate third-party services to support our App's functionality. These include: Google Play Services, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics. These services are configured to comply with our child privacy standards. They do not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) or persistent device identifiers (like Apple's IDFA) from our users. They are used exclusively for providing essential services like crash reporting and aggregated, anonymous analytics to help us improve app performance.
4. Log Data
Like many apps, we may collect Log Data to troubleshoot technical issues. This data can include your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the App when utilized, and the time and date of use. This Log Data is used in an aggregated and anonymous form for technical diagnostics and to analyze app performance. It is not used to personally identify or track individual children.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The App does not directly use “cookies.” However, our third-party service providers (like those for analytics and crash reporting) may use cookies or similar technologies essential for their services to function. Any such technologies are used only for internal operations like app functionality and analytics, not for behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking of children
6. Advertising in Our Free App
We provide a free, ad-supported version of the App so that our educational content can be accessed by as many users as possible. Our advertising practices are designed to be safe and appropriate for children, in full compliance with platform policies. Contextual Ads Only: We display contextual advertising only. This means the ads are related to the content of the App itself, not based on your or your Child's activity. We use third-party networks like Google AdMob, which are configured to serve only these types of ads. No Tracking or Profiling: We prohibit our advertising partners from collecting personal information or using persistent identifiers to track users for the purpose of behavioral advertising or creating user profiles. Human Review Policy: Our internal advertising policies require that ad creatives are reviewed by humans for age-appropriateness before they are shown in the App.
7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
7.1.Parental Authorization. We offer monthly, half-yearly, and yearly subscription plans that unlock premium features. All opportunities to subscribe or make an in-app purchase are contained within a parent-designated area of the App, secured behind a Parental Gate to prevent unauthorized purchases by a Child.
7.2.Payment Processing. All payments are processed securely through the platform you used to download the App (the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store). We do not directly access, collect, or store any sensitive payment information like credit card numbers.
7.3.Subscription Management. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel them through your Google Play or Apple account settings. You will retain access to premium features until the end of the current billing cycle after cancellation. All refund requests are handled according to the policies of Google Play or the Apple App Store.
7.4.Data for Subscriptions. To manage your subscription status, we may store non-sensitive information like a transaction ID and purchase history (e.g., "active" or "expired").
8. Service Providers
We may work with third-party companies ("Service Providers") to facilitate our Service, such as for app hosting or performing analytics. These third parties have limited access to data only to perform these tasks on our behalf. They are contractually obligated to protect the data, maintain its confidentiality, and comply with our strict child privacy standards.
9. Security of Your Information
We use commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of the information we collect. However, since the internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will take prompt action to notify you in the event of any security breach as required by applicable law.
10. Links to Other Sites
Our Service may contain links to external websites or services that are not operated by us, such as our social media pages or company websites. These links are found exclusively in parent-designated areas of the App, secured behind a Parental Gate. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these third-party sites and strongly advise you to review their privacy policies.
11. Your Rights and Choices as a Parent
